The secret life of Brookline teens and tweens

October 19, 2012 — Come hear about the secret life of Brookline teens and tweens. At this Coffee and Conversation Breakfast, Thursday Oct. 25, 8 a.m. – 10 a.m., we’ll be talking about the new findings of Brookline’s latest Student Health Survey.  What does it tell us, and where do we go from here? All Brookline students in grades 7-12 reported on their behavior and attitudes reported on their attitudes and behavior around marijuana, alcohol, relationships and sex. After exploring some of the latest youth trends and their ramifications, we will join with BHS Peer Leaders to illuminate some of the causes of risky behavior, and brainstorm where we might go from here as a community. This event is hosted by B-PEN (Brookline Parent Education Network) and B-CASA (Brookline Coalition Against Substance Abuse). All parents and interested members of the greater Brookline community are invited. For more information, please contact Mary Minott, To RSVP, please go to
